The Bad Grammar Bulletin for June 29th
Hello everybody! Went for a lovely walk with my wife and child this morning, and I’m typing this as he’s taking his big nap in the next room. As these little updates make clear, my life is really pleasant most of the time these days, but it’s also really repetitive, and earlier this week I was starting to feel a bit isolated thinking about all my friends who I don’t get to see in person much lately. Then, suddenly on Thursday, I was on the receiving end of a pile-on from about half a dozen different people who reached out to me for completely different reasons. More contact than I’ve had in weeks, all in one twenty-four hour period. It was awfully nice, so if you were one of the folks who hit me up please know I really appreciated it.
Stories! This week, we’ve got a story about breaking the rules, a story about intergenerational memory and oppression, and a story prominently featuring the words “proboscis” and “mandibles”. Please enjoy!
